Instead, it serves as an insightful visualization of traders' current expectations regarding future market conditions. For instance, consider the scenario illustrated in the graph below. The forecast (based on trades made) represents an accumulation of 6.8 inches of snow. This prediction is derived from all collective trades within the market, reflecting traders' insights and where they believe the market will most likely expire at.
