To get started with depositing funds, you can initiate a deposit of up to $10,000 from your bank account. This is a straightforward process, but it requires a few important steps to ensure everything is set up correctly. First, make certain that your desired bank is linked to your Kalshi account.
To confirm which bank accounts have been linked, simply navigate to the 'transfers' section within your profile. This section provides a view of all the accounts you have associated with your profile.
Once your desired bank is linked, you can proceed by selecting 'add funds' and choosing the 'bank account' method as your preferred option for depositing funds. This method provides a secure and efficient way to transfer money directly from your bank to your Kalshi trading account.
Once your funds are posted to your Kalshi account, you have the freedom to use them to trade on any of the open markets available. Be sure to allow 3-5 business days for the deposit to fully clear from your bank account and for the funds to be posted to your Kalshi balance.
When making your first deposit via bank transfer, up to $150 will be available for immediate funding as your transaction clears with the bank. This immediate access is beneficial for new traders who want to begin their activities without delay, providing them with the opportunity to explore and participate in the market as soon as possible.
For subsequent deposits, the amount available for immediate funding increases, allowing you to receive up to $250 of your transaction instantly as it continues to process through the banking system. This feature ensures that returning traders have enhanced flexibility and the ability to capitalize on market opportunities quickly, without waiting for the full clearance of funds.
