How to deposit
Select "Add funds"
Select the "Debit Card" option
Enter the amount you want to deposit
Select the card you will deposit from. If this is your first time depositing via debit, or you want to add a new card, select "Add a card" and enter your card details.
You can also deposit using Apple Pay or Google Pay instead of entering card details manually.
Review the transfer and add funds.
Important information
Debit deposits may incur a 2% processing fee, which will be shown before you confirm the transaction.
Debit card deposits are available for both US and international users. US transactions are processed through our payment processor; international transactions are processed through Checkout.
The debit card's cardholder name must match the name on your Kalshi account.
Only Visa and Mastercard debit cards are supported. American Express and Discover are not accepted.
Ensure you are on a strong internet connection and that any active VPN is disabled.
Troubleshooting: If your deposit fails, try using a different card or contact your bank to make sure there are no restrictions on their end.
Bank statement labeling
Some debit card deposits may appear as "recurring" on your bank statement, even though the charge was a one-time deposit. This is expected behavior - the designation is used to securely save your card for future deposits. Kalshi does not offer subscriptions or recurring charges. All deposits are initiated manually by you.
