💰What is Kalshi Klear?

Kalshi is transitioning from our old third-party clearinghouse (LedgerX) to our own clearinghouse (Kalshi Klear). New markets, like the election, are listed on the new clearinghouse, while old markets are still on the old clearinghouse.

During the transition, you will have two separate portfolios and wallets, one for the new markets and one for the old markets. These portfolios and wallets will not overlap and separate funding is required for each.

How do I transfer funds from LedgerX to Klear?

We are working on a frictionless solution to transfer funds. At this time, you must withdrawal from LedgerX and then deposit to Klear in order to trade on our new election markets!

Which wallet should I use to trade the elections?

All Kalshi users should deposit the Kalshi wallet to trade all of our new markest and the election markets! New markets will not be listed on the legacy wallet.
