⏳What are trading hours?
The Exchange will provide trading at all times, except during. periods of maintenance. Periods of maintenance will take place on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday
On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, the exchange hours are as follows:
Opens at 8:00am ET
Closes at 11:59pm ET for scheduled maintenance
On Thursday and Saturday, the exchange hours are as follows:
Opens at 8:00am ET
Closes at 10:00pm ET for scheduled maintenance
Special Trading Hours for Major Events
On occasion, Kalshi may extend trading hours or open early to accommodate major live events such as the Oscars, Grammys, or a SpaceX Starship launch. We understand the importance of these events and aim to provide our members with the maximum opportunity to engage in trading activities around them.
Announcements: Any changes to the trading schedule for these special events will be announced in advance through our Discord channel. Additionally, a banner will be placed on both our website and app to make sure you don't miss out on these unique trading opportunities.
