📈How are prices calculated?

The contract price fluctuates with the market’s assigned probability of the event resulting in Yes or No. When you invest in a market, Kalshi matches you with another user on the platform looking to purchase the opposite side. The two of you taking each side combined will pay a total of $1. If two people believe there is a 60% chance of Yes happening, the contract for Yes will be priced at 60c and the No contract priced at 40c.
