❔Can I cancel my resting orders?

You can cancel any resting order you placed on the Portfolio page, which you can access by clicking the Portfolio tab.

If your order was already matched and resulted in a trade you cannot cancel it anymore. If you wish, you can close out your position by clicking on the Sell Order button in the order panel and following that flow.

There are several reasons why you might want to cancel a resting order. One common reason is a change in market information or personal investment strategy that makes the originally placed order no longer attractive or relevant. For example, you may have set a buy order at a price you considered fair, but new information or market analysis might lead you to believe that the price is too high or too low based on current market conditions. Similarly, your financial goals or risk tolerance may have changed, prompting a reassessment of open orders. Canceling a resting order gives you the flexibility to adapt your trading strategy to the ever-changing market environment or personal financial goals.
