Is this email from Kalshi?

How to check that an email came from Kalshi, and what to do with a password reset, code or sign-in alert you didn't request.

Emails from Kalshi only come from these three domains. Everything after the @ in the sender's address must match one of them exactly:

  • @kalshi.com

  • @e.kalshi.com

  • @t.kalshi.com

Demo accounts use a separate address. See Creating and using a demo account.

Addresses you may see

  • [email protected] and [email protected]: account notifications, including password resets, verification and sign-in codes, and sign-in alerts

  • Other @kalshi.com addresses: replies from Kalshi Support, product updates and announcements

How to see the full address

Most email apps show only the sender's name. Tap or hover over "Kalshi" to see the full address.

Addresses that are not Kalshi

Any other domain is not Kalshi, even if it contains "kalshi". Watch for addresses that:

  • Add words before or after the name, like @[word]kalshi.com or @kalshi-[word].com

  • Add more text after kalshi.com, like @kalshi.com.[word].net

  • Swap a letter, like the number 1 or a capital I in place of the l

  • Come from a personal email account instead of a Kalshi domain

Don't open links in emails from these addresses. If an email asks you to do something, you can always open the Kalshi app or type kalshi.com into your browser instead of using its links.

I got a password reset email I didn't request

Password reset emails are sent when someone enters your email address on the Forgot Password page, so they can be genuine even if you didn't ask for one. Receiving one doesn't change your password.

  • Don't click the link, and don't forward the email to anyone.

  • If you don't have a Kalshi account, contact Support so we can look into it.

I got a sign-in code or sign-in alert I didn't request

Someone may be trying to sign in to your account.

  1. Don't share the code with anyone, including anyone who says they're from Kalshi.

  2. Change your password from the Kalshi app or kalshi.com, not from a link in an email. If you can't log in, use Forgot Password.

  3. Review your two-factor authentication method. An authenticator app gives the strongest protection if you think your phone or email may be compromised.

  4. Contact Support and let us know what happened.

I entered my password or a code on a site I'm not sure about

  1. Change your Kalshi password from the Kalshi app or kalshi.com.

  2. Change your email account's password and turn on two-factor authentication for it. Anyone who controls your email can reset your Kalshi password.

  3. Review your Kalshi two-factor authentication method.

  4. Message us in the app and tell us what happened.

Kalshi will never ask you to

  • Share your password or a one-time code

  • Send money or crypto to verify your account

Report a suspicious email

Don't reply to it or open its links. Message us in the app and let us know who it came from.
