Find out how to add a referral code, check a referral that didn’t track, claim an available bonus, and find your credits.

In the Kalshi app, open Explore → menu → Your rewards. Under Offers, open the referral offer you want to share and use its sharing options. Your friend should use the link or code for that offer.

Rewards depend on the requirements for each participant. Some bonuses credit automatically after qualification; others need to be claimed. Check your offer for the applicable steps.

Open your friend’s referral link and follow the signup prompts. If a referral-code field is shown, enter the code your friend provided. The signup layout can vary.

You can add a valid referral code within 72 hours of creating your account, provided no referral code is already attached and the account and code are otherwise eligible. Depositing or trading does not itself close this code-entry window.

The window is measured from account creation, not completion of identity verification. Logging in again or reopening a referral link does not restart it. Adding a code does not by itself qualify you for a bonus; your offer’s requirements still apply.

If your referral link didn’t track, your code didn’t apply, or you signed up without a code, you can try adding it manually while you’re within 72 hours of account creation and have no code attached. You can still do this after depositing or trading, subject to account and code eligibility.

You can also open your friend’s referral link again. If it opens the Kalshi website or asks you to sign in, log in to your existing Kalshi account. If the referral screen doesn’t open after login, open the link again while signed in and follow the prompts.

If a code is already attached but your bonus hasn’t arrived, check the offer’s requirements and how to claim your signup bonus. Adding a code and claiming a bonus are separate steps; you don’t need to enter the code again to claim.

The self-service code-entry window closes after 72 hours. You can’t use this flow to replace a code that is already attached. If you see an error, see referral-code troubleshooting.

Amounts vary by offer and may differ between the person referring a friend and the person signing up. Open your offer under Your rewards to review its details and terms. An amount advertised as “up to” is a maximum, not a guaranteed bonus.

Your signup bonus is the reward for joining through someone else’s referral. A referrer bonus is the reward for inviting a friend. Each is subject to the applicable offer’s requirements.

Some bonuses credit automatically. The walkthroughs below show offers that require you to unlock a bonus in the app. Your screens, amount, and available actions may differ.

If the button isn’t available, check the requirements and deadline shown for your offer. If the bonus has already been credited, you don’t need to claim it again.

If there’s no Unlock bonus button, open your friend’s entry to check their progress. Other referral programs may use different claim or payout steps; follow the instructions for that offer.

For credits in your Predictions account, open Portfolio → Predictions → Credit in the app. On the website, open Activity → Credit.

Check which account or product your reward was credited to. Not every referral reward is credited to Predictions. Review the relevant offer under Your rewards and that account’s credit or transaction details. Don’t assume a credit can be transferred to another product; your offer’s terms determine where it can be used.

Requirements depend on the offer. They may include being a new user, applying a valid referral code, completing identity verification, meeting location requirements, and completing qualifying activity by a deadline. Successfully applying a code does not guarantee a bonus.

Use the terms for your specific referral or promo-code offer. Requirements for a different bonus amount or program may not apply to you.

Limits vary by program. An offer may have a per-referral limit, an overall earnings cap, or other restrictions. Check the limits shown for your offer and in its terms rather than assuming one cap applies to every referral program.

Referral rewards may be issued as trading credits with withdrawal restrictions. Some require you to trade the credited amount on an eligible product before it becomes withdrawable. This is separate from the activity needed to earn the bonus.

Check your credit details and offer terms for the applicable trading and product restrictions. Standard withdrawal holds and account restrictions still apply.

Open Explore → menu → Your rewards → Offers, select the relevant offer, and review its requirements and linked terms. Also check any terms provided with the referral link or promotion you received.

Use the terms for the offer attached to your account, not a PDF for another bonus. If you can’t locate them or something is unclear, contact support with the offer or link you received.

If the referral simply wasn’t attached, follow the add-code steps above. Opening the entry screen alone does not confirm eligibility or guarantee a bonus.

There can be separate deadlines to add a code, complete qualifying activity, claim a reward, and use an issued credit. The 72-hour code-entry window is not the same as a bonus qualification or credit-use deadline.

Check the dates in your offer, program terms, and credit details. Unused credits may expire and be forfeited under the applicable terms. There is not one deadline that applies to every referral offer.
