Bank accounts can be linked by US users only.
To link a bank account, navigate to "Add Funds" and select the bank transfer option. You will be directed to securely connect your bank through one of our ACH partners (Plaid or Aeropay).
Search for your bank by name and select it from the available options.
Log in to your online banking portal to securely authenticate.
Select the checking account you'd like to link to your Kalshi account.
Your bank account should then be successfully linked, allowing you to transfer funds to and from your bank.
Important information
Bank transfers are available for US users only.
Only bank accounts in your name can be linked to your Kalshi account.
VoIP phone numbers may not be accepted during the linking process.
Trouble connecting?
Bank linking is powered by Plaid. If you're having trouble connecting your bank account, try these steps in order:
Verify your bank credentials by logging into your bank's own website or app. If that doesn't work, the issue is on your bank's side.
Check your bank's privacy settings. Some banks require you to enable third-party access or data sharing before connecting through Plaid.
Try a different browser or device. Use Google Chrome in an incognito/private window. If you're on mobile, try on a computer, or vice versa.
Disable browser extensions and VPN. Ad blockers, privacy extensions, and VPN connections can interfere with the bank connection flow.
Wait and retry. Your bank's systems may be temporarily unavailable. Waiting 1-2 hours and trying again often resolves it.
If none of these steps help, visit Plaid Support for bank-specific troubleshooting, or manage your existing connections at Plaid Portal.
Some users may link their bank through Aeropay instead. For Aeropay-specific issues, visit Aeropay Support.
Note for international users: Bank transfers are not available for international accounts. You can use debit card or crypto instead. Wire transfer is also available for deposits.
